Lutz Jäger

Lutz Jäger is a Director at IMIG, advising clients on the intersection of production performance and financial outcomes. He helps identify whether financial issues stem from operational inefficiencies, pricing structures, or misalignments in labour cost distribution across the organisation.

He specialises in restructuring and operations, with a focus on driving cost reduction through targeted performance improvements. He works primarily in the automotive and industrial goods sectors, applying consistent principles to uncover operational inefficiencies and improve financial performance.

At IMIG, Lutz has delivered a DVP reporting system that gives clients full visibility into cost-of-goods-sold per project, enabling data-driven decision-making. He has also led start-of-production activities for key products supplied to major automotive OEMs, including Daimler, Porsche and VW.

Before joining IMIG, Lutz held leadership roles as Head of Production and Deputy General Manager, where he was responsible for operational oversight and strategic production improvements. Earlier in his career, he led a programme that raised OEE from 50% to 83% and implemented a project-based DVP tracking system.
